Our goal is to provide our patients with the highest level of integrity, commitment and skill to help them look their best. When you are looking to enhance your looks, you need a clinic you can trust and feel comfortable with. We believe in presenting all options to a patient in order to give them the ability to choose the strategy that best suits their needs.
Our consultation involves obtaining a complete medical history, with special attention being paid to the patient's desires. Different options will then be presented to the patient along with an opinion as to which option may be best for each individual patient. However, we believe that the patient has the right to choose the option that fulfills their desires and we will work together as a team to best achieve the desired results.

With a distinguished 34-year career in healthcare, Angela Bastien has dedicated her life to the art and science of patient care. Her journey began in 1992 as a Surgical Assistant, a role that instilled in her a deep appreciation for clinical precision and medical excellence. Driven by a passion for aesthetic wellness, she earned her Laser Technician Certification in 2005, blending her surgical background with the evolving world of advanced skincare.

In 2007, Angela realized her vision by opening Begin with your Skin Medspa. For nearly two decades, she has curated a space that is as beautiful as it is professional—a sanctuary where clients are treated like dear friends and long-term relationships are the cornerstone of the practice. Angela doesn’t just provide treatments; she loves guiding others on their unique skin wellness journeys, helping them achieve confidence through expert care and education.
Even after three decades in the industry, Angela remains deeply in love with her career choice. She finds immense fulfillment in the success of her clients and the community she has built within her medspa.

When she isn't helping her clients glow, Angela embraces the vibrant culture of her community. She is a lover of theater and music, a devotee of a great cup of coffee, and is happiest when spending quality time with her dog.
Dr. Merlin Brown
Medical director
Dr. Merlin Brown is an internist in Edina, Minnesota and is affiliated with Fairview Southdale Hospital. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 25 years.
